About Me

Hi everyone, my name is Eliy Yang. I’m a student at Western Technical College in the Web & Software Development program, and I also work full time in the Bakery at Kwik Trip. As a person, I’m very positive and outgoing. I try to stay optimistic because I believe positivity can spread to the people around me. One thing I really like about myself is how kind I am. I always try to stay calm, keep a good attitude, and treat others with respect. It doesn’t cost anything to be nice, and we never truly know what someone else might be going through.

Here’s a little bit about me. My ethnicity is Hmong, although I’m not very fluent in my traditional language. I have three younger brothers who all live in different parts of Wisconsin. A short-term goal I have is to pay off my car loan so I can officially call it mine. In the long term, I hope to graduate from Western Technical College in the Web & Software Development program and find a great job in the field. Some things I really enjoy are traveling, camping, raving, and playing volleyball. I recently got into camping, which naturally goes hand-in-hand with traveling, and I’ve enjoyed every second of it. The best part about camping is sleeping under the stars with no light pollution. To be able to see so many stars with the naked eye is truly an astonishing experience. Overall, I’m excited to keep exploring life, growing as a person, and working toward the goals that matter to me.
